From home cleaning to optics | Looking back at the R&D team's two-year breakthrough, delivering two "clear" answers

Behind a good product lie countless formula adjustments and real-world scenario tests.

Since its establishment, ZHANWANG Biotech has always focused on the R&D of safe and efficient cleaning solutions. From home cleaning to personal care, we have always been thinking: how can we extend the cleaning concept of "gentle yet effective" to more precise fields?

After nearly two years of intensive R&D, we have finally delivered two answers—ZHANWANG Eyeglass Cleaning Wipes and ZHANWANG Anti-fog Eyeglass Wipes. These two new products have recently been officially launched, providing professional cleaning solutions specifically for optical lenses, precision lenses, and various screen surfaces.

R&D starting point: a follow-up question from a user

"If you can wipe the kitchen grease so clean, what about the eyeglass lenses? The lens coating is very delicate, and I don't dare wipe it carelessly."

This was a message from a user in the backend last year, and it also became the starting point for this R&D project.

Heavy kitchen grease and precision optical lenses seem completely unrelated, yet they point to the same core issue: how to find the optimal balance between powerful cleaning and gentle material protection?

R&D process: dozens of formula iterations, hundreds of actual tests

Key challenges in developing eyeglass cleaning wipes: How to balance cleaning power and safety?

The R&D team screened over 30 surfactant combinations, ultimately selecting bio-based cleaning ingredients as the core.

The pH value is strictly controlled within the neutral range of 6.5-7.5 to ensure no damage to various lens coatings.

After repeated wiping tests on over ten types of substrates, including resin lenses, Zeiss coated lenses, and camera lenses,

The formula was finalized only after confirming no corrosion, no scratches, and no residue.

Key challenges in developing anti-fog wipes for glasses: How to achieve both long-lasting anti-fogging and high light transmittance?

The anti-fogging principle is to reduce the surface tension of water droplets, but traditional anti-fog agents often cause blurred vision.

The R&D team introduced a polymer hydrophilic film-forming technology to create a uniform, transparent protective layer on the lens surface.

Repeatedly simulating temperature difference scenarios of "low-temperature environment → warm indoor environment" to adjust the ingredient ratio.

Final achievement: A single wipe provides a sustainable anti-fogging effect for 4-6 hours, while maintaining a light transmittance of over 99%.

R&D philosophy: Every iteration is a reinterpretation of "peace of mind".

From our first home cleaning product to today's optical cleaning wipes, the R&D path of Zhanwang has always been clear: we do not pursue disruptive "black technologies," but rather continuously delve deep into every cleaning scenario, striving to the extreme to make "gentle yet effective" a reality. The launch of these two new products means that Zhanwang's cleaning solutions have extended from "home environments" to "personal items"—lenses, camera lenses, and screens. These details that we touch every day, yet easily overlook, are equally worthy of being reliably protected.

Continuous R&D, endless cleaning

The launch of these two types of wet wipes is not the end, but the starting point of a new round of R&D.

Currently, the R&D team of Zhanwang is advancing the development of a series of optical cleaning products, continuously providing more professional solutions for higher-requirement cleaning scenarios such as camera CMOS sensors, VR glasses, and precision instruments.

Technology guards health—this is not only Zhanwang's slogan, but also our unchanging commitment during every formula adjustment, every round of user testing, and every new product launch.
